Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift hospital assignment requiring MT or compact RN licensure and at least one year of specialty experience.

Details

• Med/Surg unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
• Uses Epic for charting
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• May be required to take on-call during a regularly scheduled shift

Requirements

• Active RN license (MT state or compact) required
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association, not expiring prior to start
• ACLS/NRP/PALS certification as appropriate for the unit or service
• ASN required; BSN preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Med/Surg nursing required
• Date of birth and last four digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical tasks per state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, including health teaching and counseling
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed
• Former Intermountain permanent staff must be separated from the facility for at least one year before being eligible for this travel assignment
