Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with ARRT MR certification and at least 1 year of experience to join a Trauma Level II facility.

Details

• MRI Tech unit supporting Trauma Level II services
• Treats adult and pediatric patients in acute care, ICU, outpatient, and ER/Trauma settings
• Performs MRI studies including abdomen/pelvis, head and neck, chest, spine, and musculoskeletal imaging
• Conducts special imaging procedures such as MRA, MRV, MRCP, CINE, and perfusion studies
• Uses Siemens MRI equipment and PACS imaging system
• Evening shift schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, 1400-0030
• Off days are Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday
• Participates in on-call rotation, 1 week at a time every 9 weeks

Requirements

• ARRT MR and BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of MRI experience required
• Trauma Level II experience required; Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Epic charting experience required
• State license preferred (license required if applicable)
• Skilled in abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, and musculoskeletal MRI procedures
• Experience with contrast media preparation/administration and starting peripheral IVs
• Knowledge of radiation safety and isolation precautions/PPE
