Description

American Traveler is seeking a Level III NICU RN for a night shift travel assignment requiring CA RN licensure and NRP certification.

Details

• Work in a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit on the 4th floor of the Vintage Building
• Unit has 21 beds, flexing up to 37
• Staffed with 1 charge nurse and 10 nurses per shift on both day and night shifts
• Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:3
• Uses Meditech and CPN EMR systems
• Performs line placement and intubation procedures
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM over a 13-week assignment
• Floating to Postpartum required
• On-call required at least every other rotation

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current NRP certification required
• Minimum 3 years of Level III NICU experience required
• Must be able to care for babies ranging from Level I to Level III acuity
• Delivery experience and Postpartum floating experience preferred
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provide direct nursing care to neonatal patients requiring intensive support, including line placement and intubation assistance
• Energetic personality is a strong fit for this unit's team culture
• Purple scrub attire required per unit dress code
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel assignment
