Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Level III NICU position requiring a CA RN license, NRP certification, and at least 3 years of Level III NICU experience.

Details

• Work in the NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit), 4th floor, Vintage Building
• Unit has 21 beds, flexing up to 37, with 60 total staff
• Day and night shifts each staffed with 1 charge nurse and 10 nurses
• Patient ratios of 1:1, 1:2, and 1:3 depending on acuity
• EMR systems used are Meditech and CPN
• 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Floating to Postpartum required
• On-call required at least every other rotation
• Performs procedures such as line placement and intubations

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• NRP certification required
• Minimum 3 years of Level III NICU experience required
• Ability to care for infants ranging from Level I to Level III acuity
• Delivery experience preferred
• Postpartum floating experience preferred
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Candidates must not have employment gaps of 90+ days in the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Energetic personality fit preferred for this fast-paced unit
• Purple scrubs required per unit dress code
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position
• No local candidates will be considered
