Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with 2+ years of Cath Lab, Structural Heart, and EP experience for a day-shift assignment.
Details
- Cardiac cath lab with 3 procedure rooms and 1 dedicated EP lab, plus 1 hybrid OR
- Caseload of 3 cases per room
- Adult and geriatric patient population
- Procedures include cardiac cath and intervention, structural heart (TAVR/Mitraclip/Watchman), peripheral vascular angiography and intervention, EP ablations, and device implants
- 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM-5:30 PM
- On-call required 6-8 days per month (4-5 weekdays and 1 weekend)
- Uses Epic EMR
- Allscripts charting experience preferred
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience in Cath Lab, Structural Heart, and EP
- BLS, ACLS, and RCIS required
- CA CRT and Fluoro Permit required
- ARRT-R required
- Active CA license required if applicable
- Proficiency with surgery/C-arm procedures, scrubbing, PACS, and fluoroscopy studies
- Experience with stents, angioplasty, angiograms, and peripheral upper/lower extremity vascular/venous studies
- Must be able to work with adult and geriatric patient populations
Additional Information
- Perform cardiac catheterization, structural heart interventions, peripheral vascular angiography/intervention, EP ablations, and device implants
- Responsibilities include equipment set up, EKG lead placement, access site prep, maintaining sterile field, and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias
- Scrubs provided
- First-time travelers accepted
- Local candidates accepted at the travel rate
- Return staff reviewed on a case-by-case basis
- RTO must be submitted prior to start of contract
- Smoke and nicotine-free facility, candidates must arrive free of tobacco odor
