Description
American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and prior travel assignment experience for a 13-week day shift contract.
Details
- MRI unit setting
- 3x12 Hour day shifts from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM
- 7 on/7 off schedule with Sunday off in the middle of each work week
- Call required approximately one night per week and every 5th weekend
- Holiday coverage required
- Preferred experience on a Siemens Aera MRI scanner
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist
- Previous travel assignment experience required
- Active state or compact license required at time of consideration
- License required if applicable
- One professional reference required
- Must be willing to float within the hospital as needed
Additional Information
- Orientation includes a virtual session on day 1, followed by on-site training and EMR education on days 2 and 3
- Candidates must disclose any license disciplinary actions or history at the time of consideration
- Candidates with recent professional cancellations will be reviewed prior to approval
- Local candidates are not accepted; permanent residence must be greater than 50 miles from the facility
- Former employees must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
- Holiday time-off requests should be kept to a minimum
