Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN requiring a CA RN license and critical care experience for a 12-week assignment.

Details

• Intensive Care Unit setting within a hospital
• 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• 36 scheduled hours per week
• Uses EPIC EMR system

Requirements

• Active RN license in California required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent full-time equivalent ICU experience within the last 3 years required
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• BSN preferred
• 2+ years of recent ICU nursing experience preferred
• NIH Stroke Scale Certificate preferred
• CCRN certification preferred
• Dialysis or SLED experience preferred
• Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• Licenses and certifications must be active at time of consideration

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing services to ICU patients
• Accepts local candidates at the same rate as travel positions
• Returning contingent workers may not exceed two years of total assignment time without a 90-day break
• Permanent staff must be separated from employment for 6 months to be eligible for a travel assignment
