Description

American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist for a contract position in Chicago, IL, requiring 2+ years of experience scanning general, OB/GYN, and vascular cases.

Details

12-week contract assignment in Chicago, IL
Day shift rotating schedule: Week One Monday-Friday 7:30 AM-4:00 PM, Week Two Saturday-Sunday 7:00 AM-11:30 PM, alternating 40/32 hours
No on-call or floating requirements

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience required
Must be able to scan general, OB/GYN, and vascular cases
ARDMS certification required
CPR/BLS certification required (American Heart Association preferred, American Red Cross accepted)
License required if applicable
Epic EMR experience required and must be noted in employment history
New graduates will not be considered
2 current professional references from a Supervisor/Manager/Charge in the relevant area within the last year
At least one travel reference preferred

Additional Information

On-site interview and scanning assessment required prior to placement
Local candidates accepted at the same rate
Returning permanent or per diem staff must be separated for 12 months before being considered as a traveler
