Description

American Traveler is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist for a day shift role requiring 2+ years of recent outpatient experience.

• Outpatient physical therapy setting
• Day shift, 5x8s, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• No call required

Requirements

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree required if licensed on or after January 2016, or foreign equivalent
• 2 years of recent outpatient experience required, 5 years preferred
• PT licensure in state of practice required (License required if applicable)
• BLS certification from an approved vendor required
• Candidates with a prior hit on their license will not be considered

Additional Information

• Conducts treatment programs to restore and improve physical, social, and mental function
• Serves as co-leader in an interdisciplinary approach to patient care
• Completes evaluations, establishes individualized treatment and discharge plans, and communicates plans to appropriate parties
• Completes comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation within established deadlines
• Supervises assigned assistants
• Required vaccinations are a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions considered
• Accepts local candidates with no radius rule; local rates are the same as travel rates
• Candidates with more than 5 days of RTO will be automatically declined
