Description

American Traveler is hiring an X-ray Technologist for a Radiology department, requiring 2+ years of Surgery/Ortho/General X-ray experience and ARRT (R) certification.

Details

• 13-week contract assignment in a hospital Radiology department
• Day shift, 8-hour shifts from 07:30 to 16:00, 40 hours per week
• No weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements
• May float from Ortho ACC to the main Radiology department
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Surgery, Ortho, and General X-ray required; 4+ years preferred
• ARRT (R) certification required
• BLS certification required (American Heart or American Red Cross accepted)
• IEMA certification required
• License required if applicable
• Epic EMR experience required and must be reflected in employment history
• New graduates will not be considered
• 2 current professional references from a Supervisor/Manager/Charge in the relevant area within the last year required; at least one travel reference preferred

Additional Information

• Orientation takes place during the first week of the assignment
• Candidates must complete an EKG proficiency test with a score of 80% or higher prior to consideration, and must pass an on-site EKG test on Day 1 of orientation to continue the assignment
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
• Returning permanent or per diem staff must be separated from the facility for 12 months before being eligible to work as a travelers
• RTO for 13-week contracts is limited to a maximum of 7 days
• Candidates should be prepared for a brief interview with the hospital as part of the hiring process
