Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification and NM or compact RN licensure.
Details
- Work in the Labor and Delivery (LDRP) unit of a hospital setting
- Provide OB care and manage stable infants, including stabilization of sick infants as needed
- Night shift schedule (4x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
- Block scheduling may be available
- May float to other departments such as ER, ICU, or PACU based on competency and comfort
Requirements
- Active RN license (NM or compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (IFM), BLS, and NRP
- STABLE and OPS certifications preferred
- Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Two professional references in the specialty required for consideration
Additional Information
- Deliver comprehensive labor, delivery, and postpartum nursing care
- Must reside outside a 60-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for the travel position
- Previous staff must have been separated from the facility for at least one year to return as a traveler
- Travel pairs are welcome to apply
