Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Pediatric ICU night shift position requiring CA license and PALS certification.

Details

• Work in the Pediatric ICU (PICU) of an academic teaching hospital
• Night shift, 3x12 hours (19:00-7:30)
• 4-5 weekends required per 4-week schedule
• Uses Epic charting system

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required (no temporary license accepted)
• BSN required
• Current certifications: BLS and PALS (ACLS preferred)
• Minimum 2 years of PICU experience required, preferably in a Level I trauma hospital
• Teaching hospital experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• CVICU experience preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Prior travel assignment experience required

Additional Information

• Care for critically ill pediatric patients including respiratory, cardiovascular, renal, neurologic, and GI cases
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Keep RTO under 7 days per assignment when possible
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Former UCLA contractors, travelers, or permanent employees must be cleared by Talent Management before consideration, with RNs requiring a 12-month separation
• Candidates currently active with any University of California entity, as either a career employee or contractor, are not eligible
