Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with 2+ years of hospital-based experience to work in a hospital radiology department.

Details

• Hospital-based X-Ray/Radiology unit
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM
• Weekend coverage required every other weekend
• Candidates must be willing to float within the hospital and to sister facilities within a 10-mile radius if needed
• Cerner charting system experience preferred

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a registered tech in a hospital setting
• OR experience required
• BLS and ARRT (R) certification required
• License required if applicable
• Teaching hospital experience preferred

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered if they meet the 2-year hospital experience requirement
• Candidates must be willing to work every other holiday
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility based on driver's license address
• Local candidates are not accepted
• Travel pairs accepted based on facility need, though the same schedule cannot be guaranteed
• Former permanent employees cannot return through an agency unless they have been gone for 2 years
• Travelers are limited to a cumulative one year of assignments within the health system, followed by a required two-year break before returning
