Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a home health float position requiring an active MA PT license and 1+ year of home care experience.

Details

• Home health setting providing physical therapy services to patients in their place of residence
• Float position covering multiple towns across the South Region including Allston, Belmont, Brighton, Brookline, Chestnut Hill, Newton Corner, Newtonville, Watertown, West Newton, Ashland, Fayville, Framingham, Hopkinton, Hudson, Marlboro, Southboro, Sudbury, Waltham, Wayland, Weston, Auburndale, Dover, Holliston, Hopedale, Natick, Newton Center, Newton Highlands, Newton Lower Falls, Newton Upper Falls, Sherborn, Waban, Wellesley, Wellesley Hills, and Westwood
• Patient population ranges from birth to over 100 years of age
• Shift schedule is 08:00-16:30
• Weekend rotations required once every 6 weeks
• Ability to travel to assigned cases required
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts PT license required; license required if applicable
• MA conditional licenses not accepted
• Minimum 1 year of home care experience required
• Minimum 1 year of overall experience required
• AHA certifications only
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
• 2 professional references required

Additional Information

• Provide physical therapy services to patients with physical impairments, functional limitations, or disabilities resulting from injury, disease, or other causes
• Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and other allied health professionals to identify needs and coordinate care
• Maintain thorough and timely electronic documentation and interdisciplinary communication per agency policies and standards of practice
• Local candidates accepted if permanent residence is within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston
• RTO must be disclosed at time of consideration
