Description

American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift PCU RN with telemetry experience requiring a KS or compact RN license and minimum one year of experience.

Details

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting within an acute care hospital
• Patient ratios of 1:4-5
• Night shift schedule, 4x12 hours from 19:00 to 07:00
• 36 or 48 hours per week
• Weekend rotation required
• Floating required to other units when short staffed
• No on-call responsibilities
• No block scheduling greater than three or four shifts
• Meditech charting system experience required

Requirements

• Active KS or compact RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience including IV starts
• Cardiac monitoring and emergency response skills required
• Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias
• Negative 13-panel drug screen within 30 days required, Qgold only accepted
• Must complete lab screening within 24 hours of signing

• Level 3 Trauma acute care hospital with 149 staffed beds
• Any scrub color accepted; OR/L&D/Cath Lab scrubs provided by facility
• Free parking available
• Expect to work some holidays
• RTO must be approved and documented prior to assignment start, with minimal requests preferred
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates must reside within a 60-mile radius of the facility
