Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology RN for a surgery imaging support role requiring C-Arm proficiency and current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.

Details

• Work in the Imaging Services department performing radiology exams in surgery, recovery, Med-Surg, Inpatient Rehab, ICU, outpatient clinic, and a small two-bed ER
• Supports predominantly orthopedic and neuro-spine surgery cases
• Uses Siemens Luminos Agile Max RF room, GE Optima portable x-ray units, GE OEC 9900 Elite C-Arms, Orthoscan Mini C-Arm, Stryker Mobius Airo, Medtronic O-Arm, Konica DR system, and Fuji Synapse PACS
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• Call required one weekday each week and every fourth weekend
• No regularly scheduled weekend shifts

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Radiology required
• Must have experience providing imaging support in a surgical setting
• Must be proficient in the use of a C-Arm
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide imaging support for orthopedic and neuro-spine surgical cases alongside a small, experienced care team
• Must work independently with minimal supervision while being a proactive team player
• Strong customer service skills expected
• Dress code requires sage green scrub top and black pants
• Must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, no local candidates accepted
