Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a night shift hospital position requiring a minimum of 2 years current RRT experience.

Details

• Hospital-based Respiratory Therapy department
• Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, 36 hours per week
• Works every other weekend with holiday coverage as required
• No on-call requirements
• Uses ventilators including Draeger and Hamilton T1
• Uses high-flow nasal cannula (HFNC) devices including F&P Classic and Airvo 3
• Uses Philips V60 BPAP/CPAP devices
• Basic knowledge of ResMed AirSense/AirCurve home units preferred

Requirements

• Active RRT certification required; CRTs will not be considered
• Minimum 2 years of current RRT experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification through the American Heart Association required
• NRP certification highly preferred
• NBRC certification required
• NH state license required if applicable
• Previous travel experience highly preferred
• Must have own vehicle for this assignment
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered
• Supervisory signed reference from the past year of employment required

Additional Information

• Located on a hospital campus in the White Mountains of New Hampshire
• Must work two holiday blocks if scheduled: Thanksgiving Day through the weekend after, Christmas Eve through the weekend after Christmas, and New Year's Eve through the weekend after New Year's Day
• Scheduling requests and requested time off must be submitted and verified prior to offer, as post-offer requests will not be approved
• No more than 3 days of requested time off will be accepted during the assignment
