Description

American Traveler is hiring a Psychiatric RN for a pediatric/adolescent residential treatment facility, requiring prior pediatric psych experience and phlebotomy skills.

Details

Pediatric/adolescent psychiatric residential treatment facility (PRTF) setting
Weekend schedule working Saturday through Monday, 7A-7P
Provides general and specialized nursing care under direction of the Nurse Manager
Administers medication and medical treatment as part of a multi-disciplinary treatment team

Requirements

Active RN license (NH or Compact)
Current BLS certification
Current CPI certification
Previous pediatric psychiatric nursing experience required
Phlebotomy experience required, including performing blood draws on pediatric/adolescent patients

Additional Information

Works with pediatric and adolescent psychiatric patient population
Utilizes nursing process for comprehensive treatment planning with multi-disciplinary team
Upholds agency's practice model theories, beliefs, and principles in daily practice
Must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this position
