Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week night shift travel assignment in a hospital's Respiratory Cardiopulmonary unit.
Details
- Respiratory Cardiopulmonary unit on the 3rd floor, 332-bed facility
- Night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 13-week assignment
- Patient ratio of approximately 1:56
- Equipment used includes ventilators, BiPAPs, Vapotherm, and Vest therapy devices
- Meditech EMR used
- Floating required to ICU/CCU, ER, Floors, and NICU
- On-call and weekend coverage required
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Respiratory Therapy
- NICU experience required
- Critical care experience preferred
- Experience assisting with intubations, bronchoscopies, and vent management preferred
- Required certifications: NRP, PALS, BLS, ACLS
- License required if applicable
- No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Assist with intubations and bronchoscopies and manage ventilator care for patients
- Grey scrub attire required
- Does not accept local candidates; 50-mile radius rule applies with no exceptions
