Description

American Traveler is hiring a CA-licensed RN for a PCU Float position requiring Epic experience and comfort floating between telemetry and non-telemetry units.

Details

• 100% float pool position covering telemetry and non-telemetry units
• 1:5 patient ratio
• Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM-7:30 PM)
• 8-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Bachelor's degree required
• Minimum 2 years of directly related RN experience in relevant specialty areas
• Recent Epic EMR experience required
• COVID vaccination required
• Valid driver's license with proof of current, permanent address
• 2 professional references required at supervisor level or above (Charge Nurses not accepted)

Additional Information

• Must be comfortable floating between telemetry and non-telemetry units as part of a dedicated float pool
• Facility does not provide Epic training, so recent hands-on Epic experience is essential
• RTO must be submitted upfront with a maximum of 7 days; no additional RTO accepted after submission
• Local candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are accepted at the local rate
