Description

American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist/Vascular Sonographer with RVT certification and strong GE equipment experience for a 13-week night shift assignment.

Details

• 200+ bed community hospital setting in Dublin, Ohio
• Performs general, OB/GYN, abdominal, and vascular ultrasound examinations including abdominal aorta, carotid, and upper/lower extremity arterial and venous studies
• Vascular scope is limited to abdominal Doppler studies
• Uses GE Logiq e10 ultrasound equipment and PACS system
• EPIC EMR used for charting
• 4x10 hour night shifts, Wed/Thurs 4:00 PM-12:30 AM and Sat/Sun 10:00 AM-10:30 PM
• Call required every other weekend from 12:00 AM-10:00 AM
• Every other weekend and every other holiday coverage required
• Travelers are first to float

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience, including travel experience
• 1-2 years of ultrasound training from an accredited program
• ARDMS certification in Abdomen or GYN required
• RVT certification required for vascular scope
• RDCS or RCS certification preferred
• BLS certification required
• Strong GE ultrasound equipment experience required
• EPIC charting experience required
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Independently performs ultrasound exams, evaluates for pathology based on patient history and prior testing, and reviews findings with the radiologist to support diagnosis
• Charcoal grey scrubs required
• Permanent address must be greater than 100 miles from the central facility to qualify for the travel rate
• Maximum 10 days RTO per contract, with no RTO permitted during the initial weeks of the assignment
• Attendance policy: more than one call-off results in termination, and no call/no show results in immediate termination
• Returning staff must have a 366-day separation from prior employment with the health system before accepting a travel assignment
• Free parking available in any unrestricted space with no pass required
