Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a 60-bed Med/Surg unit requiring a TX or compact license and 1 year of experience.
Details
- Work in a 60-bed Med/Surg unit with surgical ortho/spine/tele/uro specialties alongside medical inpatients
- Unit supported by charge nurse, admit/discharge nurse, and PCTs
- 13-week assignment with a 06:45-19:15 shift schedule
Requirements
- Active TX or compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification (AHA) required
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required
- 1 year of recent nursing experience required
- Nursys verification required within 30 days prior to start
- Excellent time management and organizational skills required
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient care to a mixed surgical and medical inpatient population
- Local candidates accepted, though a radius rule may apply and could affect pay rate
- Covid vaccination is not required
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
