Description

American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a PET/CT role at a Level I Trauma Center requiring 2+ years of experience and Siemens equipment proficiency.

Details

• Hospital and clinic settings including pediatric patients
• Performs PET CT scans
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Uses Siemens equipment
• Charting via Epic
• 5x8 hour day shifts, Monday-Friday 10:00 AM-6:30 PM
• 13 week assignment length

Requirements

• ARRT(N) or CNMT certification required
• BLS certification required
• 2 years of experience required (1.5 years considered for candidates with Level I trauma or travel experience)
• Siemens equipment experience required
• Teaching hospital and Level I Trauma Center experience preferred
• Skilled in drawing venous blood, starting/maintaining IVs, and isolation precautions/PPE
• Experience with storing, handling, and disposal of radioactive materials
• 1 professional reference required
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Performs PET CT scans in a Level I Trauma Center, academic medical center setting
• Teal scrub color required
• Travelers must be prepared to participate in natural disaster or emergency response activities as needed
• Flu vaccine required with no declinations accepted
• COVID vaccine and booster required with only religious or medical exemptions accepted
• Local candidates within 75 miles of the facility are not accepted unless applying specifically as a Nuclear Medicine Tech or CT Tech
• Former staff must have a 2 year gap in employment before returning as a traveler
• Up to 7 days of RTO can be auto-approved
• Parking costs approximately $125 per month
