Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN with CT/Compact RN licensure and 3+ years of OR experience for a 13-week assignment at a Magnet-designated teaching hospital.
Details
- Work in the Operating Room department of a 186-bed Magnet-designated teaching hospital
- Day shift schedule, 4x10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- On-call required twice weekly, either 5:00 PM-7:00 PM or 7:00 PM-11:00 PM
- Weekends and holidays required as needed by the department
- Uses Epic EMR system
Requirements
- Active RN license (CT or Compact) required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS and PALS certifications preferred
- Minimum 3 years of Operating Room nursing experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- One professional reference required for consideration
Additional Information
- Scrubs provided for this role
- Free parking available in any unrestricted space
- Flu vaccine required with no declinations accepted
- COVID vaccine and booster required, with exemptions only for religious or medical reasons
- Candidates must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the facility to qualify for travel rate
- Returning perm staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 2 years to be considered as a traveler
- Facility can auto-approve up to 7 days of requested time off
