Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with 1+ years of experience and ARRT(R) certification for a 13-week assignment at a teaching hospital.

Details

• Work in the Interventional Radiology department
• 3x12 hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Variable weekend requirements based on department needs
• Floating within scope as needed
• Epic charting system preferred
• Uses Siemens equipment and PACS system

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
• ARRT(R) and BLS certification required
• License required if applicable
• Teaching hospital and Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Experience with venous access, central line care, and PICC line maintenance
• Skilled in procedures including angioplasty, embolization, stent placement, IVC filter placement, and biopsy
• Experience with vascular studies including carotid stenting, dialysis graft interventions, and TIPS procedures
• Skills in catheter/drain exchange, nephrostomy, and biliary drainage preferred
• Additional skills in outpatient, ICU, C-arm, contrast administration, and ablation procedures preferred

Additional Information

• Perform a wide range of interventional radiology procedures across abdominal, pelvic, vascular, neurological, and genitourinary systems
• Participate in cardiac cath lab procedures including stent placement and PTCA
• Previous full-time employees of this facility are not eligible to return as travelers under any circumstances
• Candidates must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
