Description

American Traveler is hiring an ICU RN with at least 2 years of critical care experience and current MN RN licensure for a 13-week assignment with day/night rotation.

Details

• Work in the ICU with potential float assignments to CVTU, Tele, NPCU, MPCU, and SPCU units
• 4x12 hour Day or Night shifts (0700-1930 or 1900-0730)
• Every other weekend required
• Float to progressive care and neuroscience units when not needed in critical care

Requirements

• Active Minnesota RN license in hand or proof of Minnesota license application required at time of consideration
• Current BLS certification required, ACLS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Experience with telemetry, arterial lines, and ventilators required

Additional Information

• Holiday coverage required as needed by the facility
• Required to complete lab work within 48 hours of signing contract
• Must complete in-person Livescan fingerprinting in Minnesota on the Monday prior to the scheduled start date, with all associated travel expenses being the traveler's responsibility
• Local candidates within 25 miles of the facility are not accepted
• Former permanent staff must be separated from the facility for at least 9 months before returning as a traveler
• Maximum of 7 days RTO permitted, with no RTO allowed during the first 2 weeks of the assignment
• All RTO requests must be disclosed and approved at the time of consideration
• Candidates requesting a medical or religious vaccine exemption must submit appropriate documentation
