Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ER RN for a Level IV Trauma Center requiring ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.

Details

• Acute care setting in a 30-room private Emergency Department, including a six-room EDOU observation unit
• 6 fast track beds staffed with a PA for minor non-urgent issues
• 1 seclusion room plus 5 additional monitored rooms
• Level IV Trauma Center treating all patient types including trauma, cardiac, and neuro cases
• Nurse to patient ratio of 1:3 or 1:4
• Average of 100 patients seen per day
• Supported by 5 techs during peak hours
• Uses Allscripts Sunrise EMR and Omnicell medication system
• 3x12-hour shifts, evenings and nights, 1400-0200
• 36-hour weekly guarantee

Requirements

• Active AZ or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC certifications (AHA) required
• BSN not required
• Acute care ER experience required

Additional Information

• Provide emergency nursing care across a wide range of patient acuities including trauma, cardiac, and neuro cases
• Scrub color may be any color except all black
• Scrubs are not provided
• Cancellation policy allows up to 3 shifts per 13-week assignment
