Description
American Traveler is hiring a Pre-Op/PACU RN for a role caring for general anesthesia patients across OR, cath lab, EP lab, Endo, IR, and labor services, requiring ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.
Details
- Work in a 10-bed Preop/PACU unit within a hospital setting
- Phase I patient ratio of 1:1 and Phase II ratio of 2-4 patients
- Unit supported by two techs
- Uses Meditech Expanse documentation system
- Scheduled for 40 hours per week plus call requirements
- All nurses rotate between Preop and PACU
- No floating required
- Cares for patients receiving general anesthesia from OR, cath lab, EP lab, Endo, IR, and Mom's Place
- Shift runs 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Requirements
- Active RN license (NH or compact) required
- Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS required
- Critical care experience required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in the Pre-Op/PACU specialty
- US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
- No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months
