Description

American Traveler is hiring an Echo Ultrasound Technologist with 2+ years of adult and pediatric echo experience for an acute care setting.

Details

Acute care Echocardiography unit serving adult and pediatric patients
Uses MEDITECH EMR
Performs venous and arterial vascular studies and STAT echo coverage
Utilizes Philips Epiq7 and CVX equipment
Monday-Friday day shift, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
40 guaranteed hours per week

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of Echo experience required
Experience with both adult and pediatric patient populations required
BLS certification required
RDCS or RCS certification required
Experience with venous/arterial vascular studies required
License required if applicable

Additional Information

Interviews conducted by the unit manager
Slate grey scrubs required
Strict 75 mile radius rule applies
Candidates employed by the facility within the last 12 months are not eligible for placement
16 hours of orientation provided

Charting is an absolute mess. Worst Meditech build I've ever seen. Obnoxious amount of time spent covering for what I assume are problems they've been sued or fined for, I have no other explanation for how tedious it is.
