Description

American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN for a Special Newborn Nursery position requiring NRP certification and Level II SCN/NICU experience.

Details

Acute care Level 3 trauma facility, Special Newborn Nursery (Level II SCN) unit
8 Level II SCN beds supporting approximately 800 births per year
24/7 NNP and Neonatology availability
Uses Allscripts EMR
12-hour night shifts, shift times 0600-1830 and 1800-0630
36 guaranteed hours per week
Up to 3 shift cancellations allowed per 13-week assignment

Requirements

Active AZ or compact RN license required
2+ years of RN experience required
2+ years of Level II SCN/NICU experience preferred
BLS (AHA) certification required
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
STABLE certification required
BSN not required

Additional Information

Provide nursing care to newborns in a Level II Special Care Nursery setting
8 hours of orientation provided
Collaborate with 24/7 available Neonatologists and NNPs
