Description
American Traveler is hiring an X-Ray Technician requiring 1-3 years of experience, ARRT and NJ State RT licensure, to support imaging services across multiple radiology locations in New Jersey.
Details
- Radiology department position with rotating locations across multiple NJ sites
- 3 days per week schedule totaling 39 hours per week
- Wednesday hours are 10a-6p at the Wayne, NJ location
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday hours are 8a-4p
- AM shift schedule
- On-call required
- May float to a sister hospital nearby
- Uses Epic for charting
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience as an X-Ray Technician
- Graduate of an accredited radiography school
- ARRT certification required
- BLS certification required
- NJ State RT License required, if applicable
- Knowledge of imaging equipment setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and maintenance
- Current knowledge of trends and advances in clinical practice and healthcare informatics
- Strong problem identification, resolution, and analytical skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Additional Information
- Perform imaging and treatment processes in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines
- Maintain equipment and assess patient safety, procedure accuracy, and physical/physiological comfort
- Monitor need for procedure revisions and coordinate daily imaging workflow
- Accepts local candidates at a different pay rate
- Travelers may stay on assignment up to one calendar year from the initial start date before requiring a break
