Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for the Operating Room with Level 1 Trauma experience preferred and DaVinci Xi Robot and Liver Transplant experience required.

Details

• Operating Room unit at a Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital
• Night shift, 3x12 hours, 6:30 PM-7:00 AM
• Weekend and holiday coverage may be required based on unit needs

Requirements

• Active OH or compact RN license in hand at time of consideration
• Current certifications: BLS and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Required experience with DaVinci Xi Robot and Liver Transplant procedures
• Preferred experience in Level 1 Trauma settings
• Preferred experience with eye procedures
• 2 professional references required, with at least 1 from a manager/director or supervisor and the second from a charge RN or above; no coworker references accepted

Additional Information

• Provide perioperative nursing care across a broad range of surgical specialties including general surgery, gynecology, orthopedics, neurosurgery, plastics, urology, ENT, and transplant procedures
• Experience with robotic-assisted surgeries and endoscopic procedures is highly valued
• Must complete Ohio BCI and FBI fingerprinting promptly after accepting an offer due to strict compliance timelines
• RTO must be submitted and built into the contract, limited to 7 days or less
• Locals are accepted at the same rate
• Former employees are eligible for a travel assignment once they have been away from the facility for 6 months or more
• Current employees are ineligible to be hired as a traveler at this health system
• First-time travelers are not preferred for this position
