Description

American Traveler is hiring a PCU Float RN for a 12-hour night shift role requiring 2 years of PCU experience and flexibility to float between sister campuses.

Details

• PCU Float position within an ED Hold/PCU unit
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• Patient ratio of 4 to 6:1 depending on patient mix
• 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week
• Floating required across the unit and to sister campuses located 15-20 minutes away
• No on-call responsibilities
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active FL or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of PCU experience required
• ED experience not required
• Degree accreditation documentation required on profile, or 5 years of nursing experience in lieu of accreditation
• Must provide full demographic information including address, email, full DOB, SSN, and RN license number for consideration

Additional Information

• Floating required with travelers prioritized to float first, including to sister campuses within close proximity
• Must reside within 50 miles of the facility, strictly enforced
• Galaxy Blue and White scrubs required
• All RTO requests must be submitted upfront, as facility will not approve RTO after submission
• Hard document deadline is the Monday prior to start date with no exceptions
• Candidates expected to integrate fully into unit culture and function as core staff
• Orientation begins remotely, with an in-person visit required on the start Friday for badge and ID
