Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a critical access hospital in Vermont requiring 3+ years of acute care experience and a VT or compact RN license.

Details

• 25-bed independent critical access hospital setting
• Primarily adult Med/Surg patients with occasional pediatric admissions
• Broad scope of practice including medical, surgical, observation, swing bed, and outpatient care
• Flex Day/Night rotation with assignments blocked by week
• 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Meditech EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Active VT RN license or Compact Multi-State RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certification (American Heart Association) required
• Minimum of 3 years recent acute care RN experience required
• Charge RN experience preferred
• Flu vaccination required with no exceptions
• Pediatric-only RNs will not be considered

Additional Information

• Opportunity to serve as Charge RN when needed

• Rural location approximately two hours from the nearest major airport with no public transportation available
• A dependable personal vehicle is required for the duration of the assignment
• Travelers are responsible for securing their own housing, though local resources can be provided
• All required credentials must be uploaded at least five business days prior to the start date
• Travelers will start on Wednesdays with 36 guaranteed hours during orientation week
