Description

American Traveler is hiring a Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring L&D, PP, LDRP, and Level I Nursery experience.

Details

• Work in the Labor and Delivery and Mother Infant Unit
• Patient population includes L&D, postpartum (PP), LDRP, and Level I Nursery cases
• Night shift schedule, two shifts of 7p-7a
• 36 hours per week guaranteed
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• No floating required

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• Current certifications: ALS, BLS, and NRP
• Experience in L&D, PP, LDRP, and Level I Nursery settings required
• Must pass the Relias Fetal Monitoring course/exam, proctored by the unit, prior to starting
• COVID vaccination card or approved declination required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide comprehensive nursing care across labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn nursery services
• No radius rule in place; local candidates accepted at the same rate as travelers
• Permanent employees must be separated from employment for at least 90 days before returning as a traveler
• Candidates unable to pass the Fetal Monitoring exam cannot start and must wait 6 months before retesting
