Description
American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift position on the Farnum Unit requiring NH or compact license and Epic experience.
Details
- Medical Surgical unit (Farnum Unit) in a regional referral hospital
- Adult-geriatric patient population
- 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM-7:30 AM, 36 hours/week guaranteed
- Every other weekend required, holidays required if needed
- No on-call requirements
- Floating required
- Epic EMR used
Requirements
- Active NH or compact RN license
- Current certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Minimum 2 years of Med Surg experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Must have own vehicle
- Skills checklist for Medical Surgical experience, current within 1 year, required
- One supervisory signed reference from within the past two years required
Additional Information
- Provide medical-surgical nursing care to adult and geriatric patients
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered
- Traveler-provided professional scrubs required, no logos
- Shift accommodation requests, including block scheduling, will not be considered
- All scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of application, as requests after offer may result in a rescinded offer
- Maximum of 5 days RTO may be requested
