Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) night shift position requiring 2+ years of experience and active TX or compact RN license.
Details
- Progressive Care/Stepdown Transitional unit within a 154-bed hospital
- Level III Trauma Center with Level I NICU
- Geriatric and adult patient population
- 21-bed unit with 4:1 patient ratios
- Uses MEDITECH EHR system
- Night shift schedule, 6:45 PM to 7:00 AM
- Weekend commitment of 48 hours per month
- Every other weekend rotation
Requirements
- Active RN license (TX or Compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA certifications required)
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
Additional Information
- Hospital serves as the most complex facility within a 70-mile radius, covering Northeast TX and Southeast OK
- Joint Commission Accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI
- Advanced Primary Stroke Care Center designation
- Recognized in top 5% nationally for orthopedic outcomes
- Black scrubs required
- Weekly orientation held on Mondays
- Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
- Candidates cannot have worked permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
- Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full-time
