Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Nights Emergency Room position requiring 2 years of ER experience and ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.

Details

Work in the Emergency Center, a 35 treatment room unit
Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Required to work every other weekend
No on-call requirements
Required to work holidays
Uses MediTech EMR

Requirements

Active MI RN license required at time of submission
Compact licenses not accepted
Minimum 2 years of RN Emergency Room experience required
Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS, PALS, and TNCC

Additional Information

Provide nursing care within unit scope of practice following hospital policies, nursing process guidelines, and standards of care
Supported by Clinical Nurse Specialists offering advanced nursing expertise
Formal orientation program tailored to individual needs available through nursing education department
Ongoing staff development offered through programs in BLS, ACLS, wound care, and pain management
Dress code requires navy blue scrubs
Candidates residing within a 35 mile radius of the facility are considered local travelers with reduced travel rate
No more than 5 days of requested time off (RTO) permitted during the assignment
