Description
American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with 2+ years experience and ARRT (M) certification for an acute care facility.
Details
- Acute care setting in the Mammography department
- Perform tomo mammography studies and assist radiologist with stereotactic biopsy procedures
- Average caseload of 15 cases per day
- Uses Cerner EMR and Merge PACS imaging system
- Monday-Friday day shift schedule, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, every other weekend
- First to float within scope of practice
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Mammography Technologist
- Current BLS certification and ARRT (M) Certified Mammography Technologist credential required
- License required if applicable
- Must have performed at least 200 mammograms within the past 2 years
- Prior travel assignment experience required
- Cerner experience required
Additional Information
- Perform tomography mammography studies and assist with stereotactic biopsy procedures
- Teal scrub color required
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
