Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring at least 1 year of OR experience and an active NC or compact RN license.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting within a 7-bed Operating Room
• 1:1 patient ratios
• 10-hour shifts on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday
• Call coverage required only to cover PTO days for the dedicated call RN team
• Uses Hana table, trauma table, Enseal, MyoSure, NovaSure, Kabtec, and Neoprobe equipment
• Paragon EHR system used

Requirements

• Active RN license (NC or Compact) required
• AHA certifications required
• 1+ year of OR experience plus one completed travel assignment required
• Experience required in C-Sections, Ortho, General, Urology, GYN, ENT (peds & adult), Pain, and Dental (peds)
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Supports a family-oriented team culture within the OR department
• Scrubs are provided
• Candidates must reside 60+ miles from the facility to be considered for travel pay rate
• Local candidates within 60 miles may be considered at the local rate
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full-time
• First-time travelers may be considered with completion of one prior travel assignment
