Description

American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a rotating schedule across three hospital locations, requiring rotation through high floating demands.

Details

• Nuclear Medicine department with rotation between three locations
• Monday-Friday day shift schedule with rotating call on nights, weekends, and holidays
• Expect to work some holidays and weekends in rotation with staff
• High floating expectations due to high patient-to-clinician ratios, with floating limited within the hospital
• Meditech charting system used, experience preferred but not required

Requirements

• Valid state license required if applicable
• AHA certifications required, specific requirements confirmed at the job level
• Meditech experience preferred

Additional Information

• Floating will occur in rotation with staff and in accordance with facility floating policies, including appropriate orientation to new units per Joint Commission standards
• Candidates must be comfortable with frequent floating due to high patient-to-clinician ratios
• Minimal to no RTO approved, especially during the first weeks of the assignment; any RTO must be discussed and approved prior to assignment start
• Local candidates within 50 miles are not accepted for this position
• Previous employees must have been gone for at least 1 year and in good standing at time of departure to be considered for return
