Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN for a day shift position requiring call coverage and at least 2 years of cardiac cath lab experience.
Details
- Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab of a short-term acute care, Level III Trauma Center and teaching hospital
- Day shift schedule (3x12 hours, 7:00-19:00)
- Approximately 9 days of call required during a 5-week schedule period, including weekends
- Floating required within scope to meet facility needs, including between like units or affiliated campuses
- Uses Epic EMR
Requirements
- Active NC state or Compact RN license required (pending license not accepted)
- Minimum of 2 years of cardiac cath lab experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- No background or license actions within the past 12 months
- SSN and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible
- RTO limited to a maximum of 4 days, subject to manager discretion
- Holiday RTO requests limited to one major holiday
- Former employees must be separated from the facility for at least one year before returning as a traveler
- Day shift assignments allow one extension (maximum of two contracts total); after reaching the maximum, a 6-month waiting period applies before reapplying
