Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a Neuro Diagnostics night shift position requiring at least 1 year of adult and pediatric experience.

Details

• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours, 18:30-07:00
• Weekend requirement of 6 shifts every 6 weeks, with Friday and Saturday night shifts
• Voluntary call coverage
• Required to float within site and across system as requested
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a Respiratory Therapy role
• Adult experience required with some pediatric experience required
• Active BLS, ACLS, and RRT certifications required; PALS preferred
• Active Oregon state license or proof of license application and fingerprinting required
• OR RT license required if applicable
• Epic charting system experience required
• One professional reference from a Charge Nurse, Supervisor, or Manager required, preferably within the last year
• No felony convictions accepted

Additional Information

• Provide respiratory and neuro diagnostic services as part of the care team
• 2 or 3 holidays preferred, negotiable with traveler
• Maximum of 7 days RTO permitted, with no RTO allowed during the first 2 weeks of assignment
• Candidates may not reside within 50 miles of any facility within the system
• Former staff must be separated from the facility/system for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Compliance documentation must be completed prior to start date
• Pre-start modules, skills testing, and competency activities required, estimated 4-8 hours
• COVID vaccination required with no exemptions accepted
• First-time travelers will be considered
