Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a GI Lab position requiring Level I Trauma experience and at least one prior travel assignment.

Details

• Work in the GI Lab of a Level I Trauma Center, short term acute care hospital
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, Monday through Friday (0630-1500)
• On-call and weekend shifts required as needed
• Floating may occur between like units and campuses within a 20-mile radius
• Cerner EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Active RN license (State or NLC Compact) with no pending licensure accepted
• BSN or ADN accepted for this position
• Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience required, 3+ years preferred
• Level I Trauma Center experience required
• Large hospital experience preferred
• At least one completed prior travel assignment required
• Driver's license copy required for consideration
• Vaccination status required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care within the GI Lab setting
• Must be willing to work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's) if all fall during the assignment, or at least 1 of 2 if only two occur
• Former permanent staff or travelers must be separated from the facility for at least one year before returning
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this role
• Must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be considered
• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of consideration, as late requests will not be honored
