Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry position requiring ACLS, PALS, and prior wound care experience on a rotating day shift schedule.
Details
- Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit in a 45-bed hospital
- Patient ratio of 6:1
- Day shift schedule, 5:45 AM - 6:15 PM, rotating
- 48-hour schedules possible upon request
- Block scheduling possible for straight weekend shifts only
- No call requirements
- Floating required
- EMR system: MEDHOST
Requirements
- Active RN license (TX or compact) required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment
- 1+ years of recent experience in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry with wound care required
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Dark navy blue scrubs required
- RTO blackout dates of 12/24-12/25
- RTO requests must be less than one week
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; no local candidates accepted
- Travelers who worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years will not be considered
