Description
American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with Level III trauma experience and GE equipment proficiency for a role in a Magnet-designated teaching hospital.
Details
- 186-bed Magnet-designated teaching hospital setting
- MRI Tech unit supporting Radiology/Cardiology
- Will assist with breast patient positioning
- Day shift, 5x8 hours, Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-4:15 PM
- Potential for on-call responsibilities
- Uses GE MRI equipment
- Charting in Epic
Requirements
- ARRT-MR certification required (ARMRIT certification alone will not be accepted)
- Minimum 3 years of recent hospital experience (per diem experience not counted)
- Minimum 2 years of GE equipment experience
- Level III trauma center experience required
- Epic charting experience required
- License required if applicable
- 1 professional reference required
- Skilled in abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, and musculoskeletal MRI imaging
- Experience with contrast media preparation/administration and peripheral IV starts
- Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE protocols
Additional Information
- Assist with positioning for breast imaging patients
- Navy scrubs required
- Free parking available in any unrestricted space
- Maximum 7 days RTO permitted, with willingness to extend assignment if needed
- Returning staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 2 years to be eligible as a traveler
- Local candidates not accepted within 75 miles of the facility
- Flu vaccine required with no declinations accepted
- COVID vaccine and booster required, with exemptions available for religious or medical reasons only
