Description

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist for an outpatient setting requiring 1+ year of experience and ARRT certification.

Details

• Outpatient mammography department
• Approximately 20 visits per day across 2 rooms
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with potential for 4x10 block scheduling
• Saturday shifts required
• Performs 3-D and digital mammography, diagnostic and screening mammograms, fine needle aspiration, needle localizations, and stereotactic biopsy
• Uses Hologic 3D and Hologic Affirm BX equipment
• Epic EMR preferred

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience required
• ARRT (R) certification required, ARRT (M) preferred
• BLS certification required
• CA state license required if applicable, must be in hand at submission (pending licenses not accepted)
• First-time travelers considered with relevant experience
• 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required

Additional Information

• Follows radiation safety and universal precautions/core measures protocols
• May be expected to float between sister facilities
• RTO limited to no more than 7 days
• Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate within a 50-mile radius
• Former Providence employees may return as travelers after a 3-month waiting period, provided they live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
