Description
American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment requiring 2+ years of experience and Epic EMR familiarity.
Details
- Radiology department performing diagnostic mammography imaging exams and procedures
- Uses Epic EMR
- Day shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Possible float within 25 miles between facilities as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience required
- License required if applicable
- Driver's License required for consideration
- 2 professional references required
Additional Information
- Perform mammography imaging exams and quality control procedures according to established protocols
- Monitor patient condition during procedures and initiate emergency response as needed
- Confirm patient identification, prep, and address patient questions and concerns
- Process, review, and archive images while documenting findings and reporting diagnostic observations to physicians
- Clean and inspect equipment, performing required testing for the quality control program
- Local candidates within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility are considered local and not eligible for renewals or extensions
- Candidates who worked at a MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months should disclose this during consideration
- RTO should be minimal, with 3-4 days considered reasonable for the 13-week contract
