Description

American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment requiring 2+ years of experience and Epic EMR familiarity.

Details

• Radiology department performing diagnostic mammography imaging exams and procedures
• Uses Epic EMR
• Day shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Possible float within 25 miles between facilities as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• License required if applicable
• Driver's License required for consideration
• 2 professional references required

Additional Information

• Perform mammography imaging exams and quality control procedures according to established protocols
• Monitor patient condition during procedures and initiate emergency response as needed
• Confirm patient identification, prep, and address patient questions and concerns
• Process, review, and archive images while documenting findings and reporting diagnostic observations to physicians
• Clean and inspect equipment, performing required testing for the quality control program
• Local candidates within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility are considered local and not eligible for renewals or extensions
• Candidates who worked at a MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months should disclose this during consideration
• RTO should be minimal, with 3-4 days considered reasonable for the 13-week contract
