Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring TX or compact RN licensure and circulating experience in Ortho, Podiatry, Gyn, and General/laparoscopic procedures.

Details

• Surgery unit within a hospital setting
• Days/Mid shift schedule, either 0630-1500 or 0800-1700
• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Rotating on-call required 1-2 days per week and 1 weekend per month, based on unit needs
• Cares for Covid-positive patients as needed
• Uses EPIC charting system

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
• Minimum 2 years' experience preferred in Ortho (total knees, hips, shoulders & ankles), Podiatry, Gyn, and General/laparoscopic procedures
• Circulating experience preferred; scrub experience a bonus
• Nursys report required within 30 days
• Two professional references required
• Date of birth and Social Security number required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform circulating duties in the OR with potential to scrub depending on skill set
• Scrubs of any color permitted; hospital provides OR scrubs
• Accepts local candidates at the same rate as travel positions
